The Art of Craig Mullins - This guy is a powerhouse of concept art with a classical sensibility. Very inspiring.

Hatch FX - Company site of Deak Ferrand and his wife Cheryl. Deak is a visionary artist and a good friend. His work is some of the best on the planet!

Yanick Dusseault - A friend and former colleague. One of the best matte painters in the world.

Mathieu Raynault - Another colleague and friend, and amazing matte painter.

Concept Art - The name says it all. many of the world’s best here.

Mattepainting.org - Need I say more.

Brom - He’s probably one of the most influential fantasy artists around these days, and still one of my favorites.

Jeffrey Jones - Arguably the best contemporay fantasy illustrator. Visit his gallery and be in awe of his talent. Lots of images in the Gallery.

Mark Lague - Another friend and former collegue from my animation days. I want to paint like him.

Bud Plant’s Illustrated Books - A fantastic overview of the great illustrators. The link here goes to the list of illustrator’s biography. Lots to discover here.

Art Renewal Center - The largest on-line museum of art, with thousands of big, clear images. A bit too opinionated about representational art, but great for research or inspiration.

Klon Films - This is the company website of my brother Gunnar, who is a visual effects supervisor, and a creative guy like me. We've worked together a lot, hence the same movies.

Kun Chang - Multi-talented artist, designer and director, and a pleasure to work with.

Raphael Lacoste - Another versatile and talented concept artist and matte painter. Excellent work.

George Hull - This guy has a website design that's so close to what I was going to do initially for Fiction Science. Nice artwork too.

Kevin Haug - Brilliant visual effects designer and friend. I worked with him on Stay and Stranger than Fiction, and would work with him again anytime.

COOL SITES:

Brass Goggles - A comprehensive blog for all things steampunk, with plenty of articles, images and links to great sites. Charming commentary as well.

The Long Now - I was blown away by the intention of this foundation. This is one of the most inspiring projects of our century. Beautiful and noble.

Plan 59 - Yes, the 1950’s was full of fun images. Nice site too.

Science Fiction Sets and Vehicles - A mind-boggling collection of set photos from the movies and TV. Nerd heaven for guys like me!
